The food was fantastic! I've tried to full English breakfast and the baked beans were just wonderful! We've also ordered a white tee and got loads of black tea for it, enough for a full hour, at least.
The employees are really nice and the tables and decorations are really cozy! Will definitely come again!

Love the fact you can take your dog here. We sat outside as it was warm but were welcomed inside if we wanted. Food was lovely, I had a halloumi wrap with tortilla chips as a side along with the delicious "frickles" (deep fried, pickled gherkin slices...delicious!) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great watching the world go by as you relax and eat.

They have really nice food here with welcoming atmosphere. One of the best pub in Chelmsford City.

Popped in for a drink and sat in one of the booths.
I've been here plenty of times before and it doesn't disappoint.
The bar lady was polite and friendly.
The toilets were clean.
The music was a nice volume for a afternoon drink and chat.
Definitely worth a visit if you've never been.

We had an excellent works Christmas do there. The food was well cooked, plentiful and tasty. The staff were great and very attentive. It was quite lively, but that just added to the party atmosphere. The band were good too.
Thanks Bootmaker 👍

Worth a visit! Pleasant staff, cosy atmosphere and ample seating. Cocktails were 2 for £12 which is good! Mulled wine and cider tasted absolutely foul, however...

Came across this place looking for a lunch in Chelmsford and it looked interesting. Decor inside is really beautiful and very well done we sat outside in the small seating area and it was really nice in the sunshine. A great menu with lots on offer, mainly burgers, nachos et cetera but well priced. Service was friendly and quick and we really enjoyed our meal the food was good. The only downside was that the chairs outside weren’t particularly comfortable however it does seem quite accessible for people with disabilities which is excellent news.

Such a shame to have our night spoilt by bad management. We found a table with no reservation note and sat down at about 5pm. We were enjoying our night until 7.30 when a member of staff came and said that the tables are booked for a Christmas do, so we needed to move! There should be a note on the table or we should have been told at 5pm that we could only have the table for 2.5 hours. The staff member then said that he had found us another table and hastily shot off with our bottle of wine. We grabbed all our stuff and followed him, he placed us on a big table full of other groups! We really did not appreciate this, especially with COVID because we are very aware of SOCIAL DISTANCING!! The DJ was good and we got to chat with him because he was also right next to our new table!
