We had breakfast and a coffee each.
Absolutely brilliant food, great friendly, prompt service, and lovely decor, a true gem for Barwell! Well worth a visit!

Idillic Boutique Coffee house serving delicious food and coffee.

One of the rare gems that you find by accident. My husband and I have visited on a number of occasions for brunch and have always enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the shop decor is unique giving it a cosy atmosphere and the food is amazing.

My husband usually goes for THE FARMYARD baguette which is filled with locally sourced bacon, sausage and eggs (incredible quality) other items available for filling.

I have a sweet tooth so tend to try all the delicious naughty treats available. Pancakes with banana.
Waffles with summer berries. Huge Scone with jam.
All lovely presented and tasty.

Cappuccino tasted lovely and fresh with real chocolate sprinkles to top them off.

We look forward to our next visit soon.

Came for a Saturday morning breakfast and was very impressed. It's a great little location, good menu and great quality food. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the general vibe was great.

Will definitely be returning after my first visit this past weekend. The food was lovely, really good quality and cooked perfectly. The place itself is beautiful, a really cosy little place (would definitely recommend booking in advance, we were very lucky to get a walk in table but lots of people that came in after us weren't able to get a table). The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Wow, absolutely fantastic! We came here for breakfast / brunch with the family and it was superb. We tried the "Old Blighty" full English (poached eggs were cooked perfectly) and fluffy pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, the attention to detail and quality of ingredients was second to none. Service was great and the owners were welcoming and charming. Finally, the coffee was delicious easily the best for miles around. A really lovely spot and hidden gem, well done... we'll be back!

Just visited and enjoyed 2 "old blighty" full English breakfasts and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The pancakes were so light and fluffy and were delicious as were the blighties which contained high quality well presented produce, especially liked the smokey beans. Efficient friendly service, will definitely return.

This was our first visit to Malt Mill Coffee and Bakery and we will certainly be visiting again...

I remember the cafe in its previous form and the transformation is incredible - its a lovely space which is furnished with very characteristic tables, chairs and a pew (see pictures).

The staff are really welcoming and friendly which makes the visit really personal.

We had coffee and hot chocolate (which really should be complemented with cream and marshmallows according to my daughter!), both of which were lovely, and two of their signature offerings, The Piglet and The Boar. Both were freshly made, well presented and delicious.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed out visit and wouldn't hesitate to return again. A proper little gem of a place.

Decent enough grub but could do with more options for kids.
Did ask if we could have some cheese on toast or something but didn't want to do this.
Looks like smaller portions of breakfast are offered but nothing for lunch so paying adult prices for a young person a bit poor.
Otherwise decent sarnies.
