Looking for a spot to break up our journey to the Lake District and what a lovely find. We sat at a table outside, but there’s plenty of space inside and the decor looks really inviting. We ordered eggs Benedict and eggs florentine and both were very tasty. Plus two hot drinks and a takeaway cake (blueberry Bakewell tart which was so very moist and tasty). The staff were very friendly too. Really nice little spot.

This a great cafe. Serves good coffee, cakes, breakfast and more. Inside it's a large cafe with different sections to suit everyone's needs - parent & child area with highchairs, TV screen; comfortable chairs for those wanting to meet friends, smaller tables for those on their own and tables for people to work at with their laptop. It's clearly popular and there's a cafe buzz about the place. There's a play area outside at the side and picnic tables outside at the front. There's also a car park. You can even get unlimited refills on their filter coffee! Been a few times now and will be going back

A surprising find, the coffee was good and the food tasty. I had the BAE sourdough and waffle. It is big inside with space to work on laptops.

Sad experience at this dinner, cutlery was unclean so I asked for a wet and dry napkin to clean the cutlery. b
Breakfast was not of a quality expected for the price, eggs so runny they fell through the fork, sausage that you question if the are cooked fully, ketchup sachets that have old dried ketchup on them. I gave the one star (but would have given more for the waitress staff who worked so hard) for the coffee which was good.
I like to feel this was a one off due to the cafe being busy, however, they really need to pay attention to the cutlery as no one like to eat with unclean cutlery, also they never know who is visiting.

What a tranquil place for a coffee.
Visited this morning for the first time with my two year old.
A friendly welcome and the most tasty coffee which was brought to my table which was a lovely touch.
They have a few boxes with toys in to keep little people busy for 5 minutes, I didn't give the full 5 stars as I felt these could have been a little cleaner and some needed batteries changing (I know it's tricky when they're used often) but that would be my only criticism.

Will definitely return. Thank you.
