The loveliest cafe I have been to in quite some time! Friendly staff and great food are a good combo!

We were looking for somewhere that was dog friendly to grab a coffee on oir trip back home, and ended up enjoying a really nice lunch and coffee cake for dessert. Lilly-Mae enjoyed a doggie ice cream too.

Wish we were closer to pop in more often!

Very poor customer service. We had to wait for a long time despite there being just a few customers and 4 members of staff. After at least 20 minutes of waiting, we asked about our order just to be told that it's going to be ready in about 10 minutes. 2 cappuccinos, scrambled egg and a carrot cake...
Do not recommend.

After 30 minutes waiting for a coffee and a piece of cake we were told that we still have to wait for another 15 minutes.
There were 4 costumers inside 3 or with already served.
We left. Interesting enough and even if they had not even started the order, the pre payment was not even reverted.
UK costumer service at its best….
Never coming back.

This is a nice little coffee shop and ice cream parlour in a pleasant corner of Southampton, close to Riverside Park. The menu seemed a little short of savoury items, but the "Eggs Benedict" that I had was rather nice. Closes a little too early, but there is usually some on-street parking to be found nearby. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly limited menu, very little in the way of lunch-type food. Ordered eggs benedict which was tasty, although sadly luke warm and a little undercooked. My order also came as my partner was finishing his, which was strange as the cafe wasn't at all busy.

Biggest issue of all however was that the staff just weren't welcoming or friendly, and just looked preoccupied and miserable.

Lovely friendly service, great home made cakes, and appreciated that is was only 15p (or something) more to upgrade to a luxury hot chocolate that came with cream, marshmallows and a flake! Very rare these days for it not to be like £1 more for that! So thanks! Good sized portions too.
