Typical Costa. Polite service and usual queue. Quite a few tables to spare and coffee, cake etc as expected as were prices. There is an outside area with chairs for smokers and of course toilets available to the public at the back of the shop.

If you've never been to a Costa coffee shop it is a mid-priced chain which provides good coffee, a few teas, cake and a few other "light bites" and it is child friendly (but dogs are not allowed in). My elderly parents struggled with the noise when some of the louder coffee machines were used.

This is my local Costa Coffee when home, and I rate it quite high for friendly staff and good coffee and snacks. It’s dog friendly for outside and overall a good venue. Management need to deep clean seats more. That’s the loss of one star and I think a minor but fair point. Check outside regularly for table cleaning and ash tray cleaning. Other than that it would be full points. We keep going back!

Very poor attitude from Manager Ruben, using his middle finger pointing at Customer's while using the Till Pad, when politely asked to use his forefinger he becomes unreasonable and stops other staff serving someone, this asks the Customer to leave, Ruben clearly doesn't have a clue about Customer Service, one day Ruben may learn some manners, won't return there and will tell everyone I know, Ruben shouldn't be Customer facing nor leading a Team, very disappointed.

Poor member of staff seemed under pressure and a bit stressed. She had to ask her colleague for help, he didn't offer even those it was evident she was struggling. The Cafe, however, was clean and there were no uncleared tables.

£4.20 for themed tobelorone hot chocolate. The service was very good but the high cost of the hot chocolate was a surprise the taste was not too good.

Came here as Kettle and cake was closed.

I Had a Clementine and Cranberry loaf cake, it was quite dry, but the cream on top have it the moisture.

As it's still December, thought would have one of the festive drinks, went for the toffee penny Latte, requested to have it with coconut milk and one shot, the barista making the drink, had to ask me again what my order was, I was the only person in the queue!

As I had my drink with coconut milk (I prefer the flavour and it makes the drink creamier) I had to ask for them to add some cream and sprinkles on the top.

The staff weren't particularly friendly and felt rushed with my order, a customer asked about the muffins flavours and the staff didn't know the answer, which wasn't great, if the person was allergic to anything.
