Blend Cafe

A great local cafe. Fab brunches, great coffee and friendly staff. A local gem. Gets quite busy at weekends and lots of kids. Also does some pop up evening dining.

I think bland is a more fitting name. Perhaps all the good reviews have gone to their head! My experience here wasn't so great. Food took forever to arrive and when it did, my bread was missing so I had to wait for that and then my food got cold. The food itself was pretty average. I can do a better job at home and next time I will. Not worth the trip.

Overall a very lovely cafe with nice staff. Unfortunately their pop up Columbian Street kitchen turned out to be a disappointment. Not only we waited for over an hour for our food(very simple dishes) . When it arrived it was rather blunt and it gave my girlfriend a stomach ache.
Nevertheless I do appreciate the effort of introducing new cuisines in the area.

Very sad that they are selling the cafe. It’s a very good little cafe. I want to try it before the owner changes some day.
Garlic mushroom on sourdough is very good, all seasoned well. Taste very nice with chilly and feta cheese.
Ham and cheese croissant is just okay for my taste. Croissant itself is crunchy not oily but overall this dish is no surprise.
Flat white and hot chocolate taste just fine, not special as well.
The carrot and courgette cake is very good, the flavor is different from regular carrot cake, in a good way. Overall it taste fresh and not horribly sweet.
Highly recommended this cafe.

Lovely little cafe with good staff and coffee. I had an iced oat milk latte and a slice of the banana bread. I really enjoyed both. Good WiFi (not super strong but good enough) and a fair amount of seating. Minus one star as the fabric chairs at the table I sat at were rather dirty / stained.
