Simple and unpretentious bar, with a mild Southern European flair. We're Italians, and also happened to live in Portugal for some time. To those who would comment that the locale is plain and unremarkable, you must know that THIS is what bars are actually like in our countries (and Spain). Small tables, some pastries, some sandwiches, and lots of space where people can move around and socialise. Our bars are not like Costa, or Starbucks... and when I sit in Cafe Lisboa enjoying "uma bica" (an espresso), the atmosphere is authentic enough that for a while, I forget I am in Hounslow, and feel like I am back home. The coffee they use, "Delta", is very popular in Portugal, and is very richly flavoured. The pastries are large and typical of the area, and the prices are quite reasonable indeed. As a bonus, there is a "supermarket" area further back from the bar, but as with any imported goods, these tend to be a bit overpriced.

Lovely Portuguese cafe. Staff are lovely and friendly. Lovely food and coffee. Typical Portuguese food and also a supermarket of Portuguese groceries. A touch of Portugal in the middle of Hounslow. Definitely recommend.

This is the second time I have visited Cafe Lisboa in Hounslow. It does a fine selection of Portuguese snacks, pastries and coffee/drinks. There is also a grocery shop at the back of the cafe, where you can buy different things. My girlfriend and I came here for lunch - also we visited at another time and shared a Portuguese cake and drink. I had 2 savoury snacks and a sweet pastry. With a small coffee.
The food actually turned out to be surprisingly filling - kept us going all day.
Will return again some day :)!

A typical Portuguese cafe. Excellent coffees, pastries, groceries and great service. My boyfriend and I had gone for a Portuguese lunch and I chose a fish cake, a shrimp rissole and a Portuguese cupcake (glazed with coconut shavings) and a latte. Quite filling even though it looks small . I also bought some Portuguese biscuits from the shop to take for work on Monday...

Fantastic—excellent coffee, pastries, groceries. WiFi and quiet atmosphere to get a little work done. Clearly popular with locals as there was a constant trickle of people coming in off the streets. A hidden gem. Brazilian woman working was extremely sweet

Incredible, little Portugal in London! Great cofe, cakes and even you can buy some portugeese spices, crisps, bread and frozen/ canned food. Lovely people working there, very friendly, easy going atmosphere.

Good Portuguese coffee, savouries and pastries including pasteis de nata. They also sell typical Portuguese groceries, goodies and frozen foods. Bacalhau and couve Galega for caldo verde also available in the grocery section!

WORST coffee i have ever tasted! ive tried it twice because i like to give independent cafes a chance, however this failed on a whole different level.
I had to go home and make myself a cup of coffee, which by comparison tasted a thousand times better.
The service is friendly, atmosphere and chairs are lovely but the coffees are awful.
