Canal Cottages - Derby Canal

Found this newly opened little gem by accident. Good tables outside in a nice area. Only had a drink on this occasion but the menu is good and the cakes look like they are to die for. This may be the first of our visits but definitely not the last

Good spot would recommend. Excellent cake; Also friendly staff asked if our water bottles needed refilling from their spring water. When walking it's not always easy to ask for tap water at certain venues but really friendly staff here. Were also attentive to a friend's dog with water/doggy treats.

First visit today, lovely coffee shop, ideal for a stop off during walk or bike ride. Friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Loved the halloween theme

Lovely little cafe on the canal, really friendly staff, delicious cake and hot drinks. There were some special Halloween decorations and treats for the kids which were lovely.

A very friendly and 'atmospheric' cafe reflecting the history of the Nottm- Derby Canal. Lovely Cakes and Pastries not to mention the best drinking water I have tasted for a long time. This will soon be a 5 star destination. Pleasing for me is that the cafe is cycle friendly too. Standards service and atmosphere still 5 star. I think that there will be queuing very soon..

Perfect little gem, everyone was so nice, they also welcome well behaved dogs. There is sheltered seating outside, lovely clean loos and the best scones and coffee I've had in ages

Tasty offerings on the menu. It's in interesting, and beautifully clean surroundings. Friendly helpful staff too. Highly recommend.👍☕
