Chill #2 Cafe & Bar

Stayed in Ibis for 5 days and visited this bar few times. The best cafe and bar in Cambridge. Nice decoration. Staffs are helpful. Will visit again when going to cambridge.

Food was excellent.

Loved the fact that could keep my eye on the train times.

So would have been excellent rating however the staff could be better trained. At the door helpfully told me that the tables have menus but could have also informed of the need to go and order at the till. Brunch places with this level of pricing usually do have a table service.

Cappuccino was served cold so returned it and got a hot drink. It was confirmed it is cappuccino but nope it was latte with little extra foam.

Cutlery was plonker on a table with no napkin. Table was obviously not wiped since previous customer as it still had suger and spice packages left on it.

For £12 toast and coffee I expect better.

Good but very busy place right next to the train station. Came there around 2030 and they ran out of most ingredients for pizza, so had to hit the store and hotel restaurant. So I didn’t get to try any of the pizzas, but be back next time and hopefully they will have it.

Used to be much better. In 2022, the staff are friendly but severely understaffed. We waited 45 minutes for our coffee. The food and drinks are great but not worth the ridiculous wait. Pizza is not all day despite the board outside advertising this - we were told it's only being offered from 14:00 onwards. Will not return to this place although the chai latte is the best.

I love this place for their hot chocolate and friendly staff. Lorna and Joshua have always been so nice and make the best drinks!

Tried this cozy place before boarding a early morning bus and did not regret waking up more than an hour early to have a hearty breakfast here. The latte was also wonderful (especially as the barista really enjoyed making coffee for herself), so I drank rather slowly and took it with me instead of swallowing it when I left for the station.

Second night was a let down, orded food. Pizza from fresh, waited 25 mins. Asked politely where it was. It's coming was the answer. Magically in about the same it takes to make a fresh pizza my food arrived. Chalk and cheese compared to my first visit here

Visiting a friend in Cambridge. Decided to come here to get some work done after doing some research and this place frequently recommended online. Didn’t disappoint. Hot drinks I had under £3. Wireless charging and plugs. Warm feeling, vibe. Can watch the world go by if you sit in the window too. I was even given a free coffee while I was here as apparently they’d made too much. Would visit again if I return to Cambridge!
