E16 Cafe

While attending a conference here I stopped in for latte. Honestly, one of the worst tasting coffees I have ever had. Very strong metal taste plus artificial coffee flavoring. Took two sips and immediately tossed it.

Good service, helpful staff. I attended an expo at the ExCel Center in London and, because I had had enough hotel coffee, I wanted to try something else.
I was really glad that they had non-dairy options so I bought a latte which was really tasty and strong enough actually.
On the second day I tried a double espresso which reenergized me quite well.
Overwall, it's definitely a good place to stop for coffee, especially when you're facing a hard day's work.

Wish I'd read the reviews. Tut-tutting server claimed the "best coffee" and then produced a 'flat white' which looked like the remnants of an insulating spray foam job (maybe branded for Grand Designs Live) floating on milky coffee. Too hot and, yes, the roast is burnt

The coffee isn’t burnt as stated in other reviews, it’s just strong coffee. Brits aren’t used to strong coffee I guess. It’s a shame the only plant based milk alternative is almond milk, which for me isn’t creamy enough to counter the strong coffee.

Ok coffee, poor service. Lady taking orders appears to be bored of life. Lady making coffee is grumpy. I let it slide first and then came back next day just to experience the same.

Just had one of the worst coffees from E16 in the ExCeL. Not hot. Poor taste. Weak flavour. Ridiculous wait. Incompetent staff. My advice - use one of the alternatives.

Weak drinks, not using the best alternative milks and poor coffee used. Would avoid this place next time.
