Lexpress Coffee

Food is good and they have a really good selection but was quite disgusted last time I went to see staff behind the counter handling money and card machines and then immediately handling all the food afterwards (not exactly hygenic). They were wearing gloves but not taking them off or changing them between handling the money and then touching food again.

A great place for your breakfast, lunch or home-grown food! Dear, kind and receptive to the staff. Normal, even low prices for this area. I recommend!

They do a £1 cappuccino, very welcome in an expensive city.
Never tried it but food buffet being setup for lunch always looks really appetising with large variety of options. Shame i'm not closer at lunch times.

I've recently found Lexpress as a great place for a choice of takeaway breakfasts. A bacon roll (fresh, crusty roll with 3 slices of bacon) & a cappuccino for £3.50 - you can't go wrong!! Efficient, friendly service from the staff as well.

Easily the best tasting coffee near Cannon St. Very tasty and very well priced. Great selection of breakfast and lunch offerings too. Next time you're nearby try giving this independent your custom rather than a massive chain!

Starting going here last month , not the cheapest but good grub. The only down point this morning was (Ladies) handling the food like trying to get us out of the shop … no smiles , a bit of a don’t care attitude… maybe they having a bad day

Bit of a hidden gem, this. Great comfort food at reasonable prices, and the staff are really friendly too.
