Hettie's Coffee Shop

Just had the best Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Toastie here, it was listed as a panini but I asked if I could swap out for the brown sourdough bread, they were more than happy to do so. It was so good i'm writing this review just after finishing it. Very lovely service. :-)

Great coffee shop. Had a great panini with fresh high quality ingredients and proper cheese in. Would definitely come back again.

We came here for lunch and coffee and was not disappointed. The bread was sourdough and delicious. We tried the mango mint lime smoothie and it was also very delicious!

Lovely quiet cafe on the main road. Good coffee, freshly prepared food and friendly service. Recommend.

I would always give the coffee five stars. I also love the toasties.
Nice vegan choices and non dairy milk range.
Not always sure about the customer service though.
Why do they prop the back door open on a cold winter's day for example?
Why do they start stacking the chairs so early when you are still ordering ?
Why don't they just give a little smile sometimes?
Do they really want us there?

Reduced rating...still indifferent service and ignorance. . If I could just get the staff to acknowledge me (or at least make eye contact) when I arrive I will give it 4 stars. Still, it is good cosy place

All of the staff are both incredibly friendly, and very accomodating. The coffee and food is also brilliant, the best I've found in Ivybridge so far! Prices are really reasonable too, and they have vegan options for drinks, sweet treats, and meals.

Hetties is a really nice independent coffee shop with a nice atmosphere, I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to eat or drink in Ivybridge, especially those looking for somewhere dog friendly and/or with special dietary requirements.

Most enjoyable coffee and croissant. Friendly service. Food brought out for other customers looked good and tempting. Do pop in if you are in Ivybridge you won't be disappointed.
