A good place to get a cup of coffee. I find it cold to sit on the outside sitting area. Inside the seating is limited and it is often crowded.
Very nice and very few places you can work on your laptop as there are only two power sockets allocated.

Some background a la Costa (my interpretation of their words). "As of a few years ago 'flat white' coffee was not available in the UK". Well, their right, flat white coffee was invented in Australia. If you order a fault white ANYWHERE in Australia you get a cup of white coffee WITH NO FOAM. Here you get "a layer of microfoam'. That I Not Flat White - Costa. It's your version of a classic coffee drink. Okay, I hear you all say "Well, ask for what you want". I do and so do the people with me. We even explain EXACTLY how we want it - 'flat white coffee please. No foam at all' and the universal Costa coffee maker at the preset machine replies "That's not how I make it". But that's how I want it, I say. Their eyes roll in their heads, the exchange the 'another one of those customers' looks with colleagues and a sullen production of my/our coffee(s). It seems the customer can no longer have their coffee as we think we are going to get it and instead we have to take it as Costa has decided we MUST.

Recently bought a chocolate twist.... It tasted like a carpet, soft and dry. It was not fresh at all. I asked for a fresh one, and was told "the are very fresh, just unpacked them", and it was exactly the same. I threw it away sadly. For that price you'd expect a fresh one...

The worst Costa in the country for a morning coffee. Seriously, when you want a coffee having had to wait until 10 or 11 or whenever the galeria decides to open today the first thing you want is a coffee. you have to wait another half hour to an hour before you can get one. This Costa is a joke, try opening the doors at the same time that the Galleria opens. This is the type of service you get in Hatfield which is why this town will never become anything and will eventually collapse.

My first impression was that the serving girl was bored with her job. In fact if she had smiled her face might have cracked. She was more or less rude! She needs a walk up call!
At first there was only one barista making up the coffees then more suddenly appeared. I waited 10 minutes in all, and that was unacceptable. The coffee was worse than at the Costa in Asda, Watford. It is so bitter and cheap tasting. My wife and I have decided to frequent Nero's instead.
Anyway, the ambience is nice and there's plenty of seating. The music isn't too intrusive either. So if you can tolerate cheap tasting coffee then this is the place for you.

Nice staff. Clean tables but the outside area, although inside shopping centre is a but chilly. Not a Costa with much atmosphere but drinks good.

Costa in Galleria, Hatfield has a good seating capacity. It has outdoor seating as well. During weekends, it is crowded. However, you will find seat here. You can bring your kids as well. Staff is courteous and polite.

It serves wide variety of coffees, brownies and cookies
