Quick, friendly service and very up to date on NHS track and trace, social distancing and sanitising. Made to feel very welcome. Price is average for a specialty coffee shop, so very happy 😊

Coffee #1 feels a more of a high end coffee shop compared to Costa coffee. I came in for lunch having a chicken and pesto panini, a green smoothie drink and finally a lemon marangine slice. The pannini tasted brillant, smoothie was tasty and healthy and lemon marangine slice crunchy marangine then soft middle with biscuit base. Was a Brillant meal. Definitely recommend. What I also liked was that the used coffee grounds are in a basket which they give away which can be used for plants so gave it away to people for their plants.

Love their coffee especially as an iced latte in this heat! Staff are always polite and friendly. Food is yummy too. Great that they are dog friendly too!

Coffee#1 has single origin coffees that are very flavorful. The decaf from Brazil is amazing. The coffees have a lot of distinctive flavor . Coffee#1 and Star Anise Cafe have the best coffee in Stroud in my opinion. Their pastries are nothing special. Woodruff’s is much better in that department. Pastry from Woodruff’s , coffee from Coffee#1

Quite pricey for their drinks but their fráppes are the best I’ve come across. It can get very noisy at certain times of the day, which is off-putting. Otherwise, nice coffee shop situated in the middle of Stroud.

Not great coffee, after a few pre-train coffee's I now tend to avoid it. More akin to Costa. There's much better independent coffee in the Five Valleys shopping centre.

I could drink my coffee quick enough ,all I wanted was a quiet coffee and what I got was staff chatting amongst themselves throw crockery around so much noise.

Absolutely delicious. One of my favourite cafes. Has so many dietary alternatives. Makes me feel at ease knowing I actually have a choice. Dairy free milk available plus lots of cakes. Comfy quiet place to sit and enjoy a coffee .
