Coffee#1 Taunton

It is now one of my most favourite coffee shops, especially since they have opened up more space and having wifi on offer. There is a great selection of coffees available (different roasts and flavours). mY favourite drink is either the Minty Mocha or Minty Hot Chocolate!!

So many coffee shops where ever in the world you go... With a battle between the 2 Coffee giants, it's nice to see others out there too!

Coffee #1 ..is relatively new to me.... But having been taken there by a friend I have become a fan! There is coffee choice without being overwhelmed....
And some great ideas re. smoothy choice... Some with interesting veg like "Beetroot" (and I go nuts for all things beetroot! )

Frappe too is one if my soft spots and didn't go unnoticed, along with some fine teas for the non coffee people among us.

Oh NO! CAKE!! how could I nearly forget CAKE! I had a very good Caramel shortbread topped with chocolate. ( actually dreamt about this cake (😂). It went perfectly with my caramel Machiatto.

This coffee shop is quite big and goes back a long way, and has a 2nd floor, so there are plenty of seating available.
With two good sized toilets with a large lobby outside toilets, there is no need to budge-up when queuing
It is very accessible for wheelchairs accesable
. Children are welcome in this cafe, as well as assistance dogs.

Had a brilliant time with a lovely made hot chocolate beautifully presented slice of cake, a warm atmosphere with brilliant staff and great books to read. Definitely recommend and will be back soon

Great coffee, staff not overly friendly or chatty. Allow dogs in some make up for that. Plus first cake we had was a little stale but was changed with no issues which was great

Service was very quick, coffee was made to an incredibly high standard. Overall l, very nice café

Love Coffee#1 lovely super helpful staff. Really good coffee with oat milk and to die for cakes and toasted panini. Justifies why there was a queue out the door the entire time we were there and that's with a team of 4 working at top speed!
