I would like to thank Café Espresso for help in keeping my bag safe, as I went in to have a coffee which is lovely and a bit to eat, on finishing I took my shopping bag off the table but forgot my handbag which was on the floor, after going into another shop to pay for a purchase, I realised that I had left my bag in Café Espresso, I hurried back to find that they had put my handbag behind the counter. Thank you so much for keeping my bag safe. I cannot thank you enough.

As a cafe it failed to impress me. There were no meals on the menu. Hot food options included toast, soup, burgers. Various cakes and sandwiches were on offer. My burger was in a cold roll so, with the cold salad items inside, it didn't take long for the meat to chill. The latte was very hot but seemed to be lacking in milk and the coffee tasted stewed. In the sunlight it was evident that many of the tables needed proper cleaning and the floor was grubby. However, the staff were friendly and it was obvious that they had regular customers (mostly only having a drink).

Small cafe but with big welcome. Staff smiley and friendly, and a breakfast to die for. Only negative was the fact that no disabled toilet on ground floor.

Fabulous Capachino- so much so that having had one, I left & went back for another within 20 minutes. The staff are lovely & friendly & bring your order to the table. Very nice place, will definitely be going again. Good value too!

Love this little gem on our high street. Nothing too much trouble, down to bringing our lunch to us at work. Fave...chicken tikka panini, good hot choc especially in this weather!! Everyone very friendly. Thankyou x
