It was a busy sunny Bank holiday but this tourist cafe was not geared up for this as they were telling customers there were no pasties for at least 20 minutes due to not having anymore out of the freezer. The cheese scone we ordered instead took just as long to arrive with nothing but a butter pat and was very underwhelming to taste. There were 2 queues going on, one indoors for food and drinks and one outdoors for ice creams and heaven forbid if you queue at the wrong one you had to join the end of the right queue to get your order in. My advice is avoid this novelty cafe and walk down the slope to the cafe building in the car park as this looked delightful, and wished we had gone there instead.

A wonderful little boat cafe/bar. Fantastic hand made pies full of great tasting ingredients, plus teas, range of coffee, soft drinks, wines cider and beers. The cream tea looked awesome. Very friendly service too.

A lovely little family run business open for the summer season only. They have a range of hot and cold beverages as well as a variety of ice creams. It can get very popular, especially on a sunny day.

Brilliant service with a smile great little coffee bar on the river worth a visit. Also sells beer/wine for those summer days. Shame they don't do soya milk

Lovely friendly ice cream & coffee stop on the canal. Pasties are very popular too.

Hi I'm one of the rangers on the Grand Western Canal, the Ducks Ditty-Cafe Bar is not operating this year 2020 due to Covid 19, but is going to be opening next year 2021 it is a great place for a light lunch and a drink and the staff are very welcoming

Nice spot. They were a member of staff down on the day I visited and the person who was serving doesn’t usually prepare the coffees. My flat white was OK but wouldn’t normally have been good enough to bring me back. I’ll give it another try given the staffing issues they were suffering.

Brilliant place for a pit stop. We walked from Halberton to Tiverton and stopped for gin and tonic and lemon cake on board this lovely little barge 😋💖
