Always outstanding this visit was no exception , staff always 110% always clean food always flawless parking very easy, a touch expensive but for the location and peace I think it's actually quite cheap.
Keep up the great work.
Bonus you can purchase the cakes and they box them for you so loved ones at home don't miss out

A truly hidden gem. Coffee shop is fantastic as is the quality selection of food on offer, from the butchery to the frozen pies, what's not to love? Oh and they have Wookey Hole Cheddar, which I love. Thanks to all the lovely staff too, for being so welcoming.

Fantastic local produce, friendly staff and decent little cafe. Just heard that it's going to close at the month end due to increased running costs. Such a shame. Enjoy it whilst you still can.

The worst cream tea I’ve ever had.
Clearly they have never experienced a cream tea in Devon or Cornwall.
The Scone is not a Scone it’s a dry crumbling rock cake. You cannot cut it in half without it falling apart.
The jam was far too cold & as for the “ Devon clotted cream” it’s an insult to Devon. It comes in a small plastic tub & not enough to cope with the dry Rock Cake.
On a positive note the rest of my family had Panini’s which they enjoyed, & the building & surroundings are a delight.

Excellent selection of frozen food, butchers and bakery items. Friendly and helpful. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Good spot for afternoon tea. Chargepoint dual Type 2 charger. Plenty of parking.

Great lunch in the cafe with grilled chicken skewers, steak sandwich, with fries and fresh tasty salad. The only blot was the ketchup: only 15% tomato content. Heinz needs to replace the jellied red vinegar packets provided.

Alas, all good things come to an end: Harper's is closing at the end of October. Many thanks to Mr Harper and his team for many years of great food and service.

Sadly closed 31 October. We'll miss you, Mr. Harper and your team.

We were in the area and wanted to have some coffee. This is a delightful and modest place. Spacious, very clean and good lighting!

Good choice of menu at the café, great coffee and desserts!

They have a wide range of meat and poultry!

Please don't be alarmed with the prices, their prices reflect on the products. If your a lidl shopper, you have been warned... But you won't find these products at lidl!

Customer service was amazing from start to finish. Friendly, polite and accommodating... It was nice to see there are people who don't get offended or worried what to say.

We are definitely coming back! Please keep up the great service and products!

Sausage rolls are great. Nice place and very popular but the bacon sandwich at £4.50 was just an embarrassment. Worst I've ever been served. Come on Harpers, you can do better than that, surely. Got a refund, no quibbles but left a little disappointed.
