Live At The Cellar
Live At The Cellar
A delightful family run village cafe, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks & meals, and a super range of home made tasty cakes. This cafe is cosy and warm, with a modern, yet traditional feel. I had just visited the local castle, and this was an ideal place to stop, rest and fulfill my desire for warmth and a tasty sweet snack. The staff were welcoming and helpful.... and there was a friendly buzz from locals that seemed to frequent the place: always a good sign of a good cafe....... if the locals approve eh........ 😎

Lovely little tea room, popped in for a couple of cappuccinos. Staff were friendly and chatty, will be going back for a breakfast though because it looked delicious!

One of the best breakfasts I've had. And this comment was echoed throughout of group of 11 people! Really nicely cooked, all the eggs were fantastic, nothing over done and burned. The staff were good too and had really good banta, they judged the group well.

A veggie breakfast is also offered which ,too, was commented on highly.

Would definitely recommend visiting, even if its just for a coffee.

So good we went twice! We had lunch at Adele’s on Saturday and went back on Thursday for breakfast. Staying locally we were delighted to find somewhere for light meals in the village. Lovely sandwiches and baguettes with range of fillings served with sides of coleslaw & crisps. Dragon Breakfast was excellent.

So friendly and welcoming, the selection of homemade cakes were spot on! Kids loved the milkshakes and hot chocolated and the Dragon Mocha... well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The omelette was the best I’ve ever had, such friendly ladies running the place. Wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable in the slightest, really reasonable prices and about a 2 minute walk from the castle. If I lived local, I’d be in here all the time!

Wonderful friendly staff, we arrived at 3, didn't know they were about to close and still got friendly service, took them 30 minutes to tell us they needed to close. The home baked chocolate tiffin is probably the best I've eaten in my life.

I can't rate this cafe highly enough - what a lovely place!

My family (husband, toddler, and two dogs) stopped here for a bite after exploring the castle today. I had the cream tea, my husband had a BLT and we ordered a bowl of chips for the lad to snack on. It was all excellent quality.

The staff are second to none. We chatted with several different staff members who were the friendliest of people. They even made our very wet and smelly dogs feel at home with a cheeky treat just for them!

I ended up buying some cakes to take home with us as a treat. If we visit the area again, we'd stay in Cilgerran and that would mainly be due to the wonderful welcome at Adele's.
