Nice shop with good stock, however, the one time I came to the shop a while back, I was trying to explain/ask a member of staff about an item I saw online to see if they may know what it was (as I was unsure because I had never heard of it, and it being a comic store, I thought they may have known), they spoke to me in a tone that made me feel like what I asked was stupid, when in fact I hadn't actually finished what I was saying, putting me off from continuing. Frankly, I'm not bothered anymore about what I asked that day, but it left me a little irritated as I was just simply curious. Don't take me wrong, it's a good store for comics, and would recommend it to other people if they enjoy comics and marvel etc, but personally I won't be returning.

Absolutely stacked with comics from multiple era's. Adam and David were friendly hosts and gave great suggestions of books that catered to my interests, very knowledgeable bunch too.

Every time I come in I’m greeted with a warm welcome. I’d specifically asked for a copy of a comic that had not yet arrived at the time I had visited and to my surprise it was put aside for me for 2 weeks! Excellent customer service and I’m happy with my purchase and experience.

This is a totally untrustworthy store. I ordered incentives and when the store realized they were increasing in value, the order was canceled due to damages. But instead of replacing them with good copies, the store put them back up for sale at a later date for a higher price. On top of that, the store responded to my inquiries with a nasty message. Do not trust this store to be honest with their customers. - Update - how a store can call a customer despicable is beyond me. I never left negative feedback because the item was never shipped to me. In addition, it is the store’s responsibility to request damage replacements from Diamond Comic Distributors and notifying the customer that those replacements are on the way. But the fact is this store cancelled the order and kept the good copies for themselves. Do not buy from this store.

I love this comic store! The staff are so knowledgeable and keen to help - it feels like they're massive comic fans and really want to talk about them and give recommendatuons, which is so cool. I go in just for a browse, talk to the staff about my favourite stuff and I always come away with several recommendations. Today, I was helped by a lady called Dart and she spoke to me and recommended several comics based on previous stories I'd liked and was able to give me more information about several comics I picked up. I'm very excited to read them and can't commend her customer service enough! I 100% recommend this store to any local nerd.

I don’t collect or read comics/graphic novels and know zip about them. My daughter’s partner does, though.

I have bought Christmas and birthday presents from Piranha Comics on numerous occasions. I am writing this because I saw some negative reviews here.

Service from this shop has been unfailingly helpful and courteous. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their stock. They are tolerant of my lack of information and have always helped me buy presents that were highly appreciated by the recipient. Their stock is well wrapped and protected and all round a first class effort.

Highly recommended to anyone.

And no, I have no connection to the shop beyond being an occasional customer of theirs.

Went with my brother yesterday for him to buy some comics guy at the till was super helpful and polite. Spotted riverdale Veronica that I talked myself into getting. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Lovely staff and good looking store was talking to a member of staff who told me there is a basement full of comics so chances are they have what you want so long as you know what it is you are looking for, also have some very cool and rare comics for sale and on display
