That Comic Shop

Super friendly, very knowledgeable owner. Always down to play games with people be it board games or magic the gathering. Friday night magic is always a great time with lots of friendly people.
Oh and there's also comic books (loads of them!), graphic novels, board games and other assorted geekiness available to buy!
Always have great fun whenever I go in.

I'm here every couple weeks for FNM and Noel is the single most stand-up independent store owner I've ever met. Goes absolutely above and beyond to accomodate customers, and is really friendly and welcoming. Never felt left out being there.

That comic shop is made up of a very welcoming community. I go to buy comics, game assortments and mainly play magic the gathering card game! Noel the business owner is a genuinely lovely man, he is patient and taught me magic the gathering. Consider turning up and say the lovely Mitchell sent you 😊.

We visited today with my little boy, going to a comic book shop can sometimes be intimidating but not today not this shop! The owner is wonderful, he helped me and my son find the right comics making sure they would be age appropriate, he then got down to my son's level to see what he had picked and asked him all about the cover. I can't wait to go back and we will definitely be there for free comic book day!

Honestly can’t say how much I love this shop it’s like a second home now and it’s an overall great atmosphere. The owner Noel has a great knowledge of card games and comics to be helpful to anyone and his kind and funny personality makes him a pleasure to be around.

Just passed by on our holiday (I'm from germany)in the area and was very pleasantly surprised. The shop is not super big but the owner seems to run in with passion and it has everything a good comicshop needs. Very friendly owner,open for a little chat and I got some good bargains as well. Thanks

While I was studying at UCLAN, That Comic Shop became my home away from home. You will never come across a more welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There is no place better to satisfy your appite for all things geek related. The community which has organically built around the store is a testament to that fact. I honestly couldn't recommend a business more and always make a point of popping in whenever I happen to be in Preston. x

I have enjoyed my visits to that comic shop. New stock arrives on a Tuesday, and if you email Noel the owner he will put the comics to one side for you. Very friendly, lots of choice, and no judgement on the fact I know nothing about comic collecting. Noel gave some great advice on stories and choices and how to tell joining on points in larger stories. Plus when I went they were playing a game of magic the gathering in store. Very cool!!

Went again on 06/03/22 still brilliant, still card games and still loads of choice. Get down and support your local shops.
