Grapes Hill Community Garden

Lots of love put into an organic garden which was originally disused land. Welcoming people.

A gem of a place! We visited on their family fun day to see the owls and hawks. The raised beds, greenhouse and lawn reminded me of the projects you see on gardening programmes when a little oasis is created in the centre of the city. They have plays and singers perform here on certain dates and we will return.

Started volunteering at Grapes Hill Community Garden 2 months ago, it has been really fun and enjoyable and I feel like I am making a real difference to the garden, and have really learnt a lot more about gardening than I did before I started volunteering. Lovely green space.

(Popped by this place one Sunday afternoon. Lovely, pretty little garden, perfect space for learning more about gardening, and for relaxing in.)
