Be extra meticulous when dealing with this company and be sure to get details of ALL costs upfront, before you decide to use them, however in my experience, even making every attempt to ensure this happened did not work. My laptop broke down, whilst discussing the issue with the technician, we both agreed a new replacement would be the best course of action. Detailed costs were discussed for data transfer. However when I arrived at the shop the next morning with my new laptop as expected, additional costs were added to my bill, which had not been previously mentioned. I walked away as I feel strongly this is not good business practice. Trust is hugely important when buying such services. Lastly, ensure all software this company places on your hardware is supplied to you with the respective Licence / Key for your own protection.

Excellent service and very professional, they looked at my computer which apparently had a known problem (manufacturer failed to tell me about!). They did a diagnostic and tried a quick fix free of charge which didn't work and said they could try an alternative which would be more costly/invasive. I then decided to argue with the manufacture who has now decided to repair it given the known fault. A1 didn't charge a thing but were very good and honest in their advice. Highly recommended and I've just sent a referral their way given the excellent experience I had

Very, very disappointed in this company's service and attitude. Yesterday, a technician came to my home to deal with a PC-printer/scanner connection issue. The technician spent some time reviewing/modifying software on my machine. The issue was resolved at the time to my satisfaction by successfully connecting the PC to the printer via wifi. The job cost £65.00. Today, however, the PC could not 'find' the printer/scanner and I could not scan anything. On calling the company this afternoon they refused to have the technician come back and look at the problem again without once more charging me the same £49 for first 30 mins and then another £15 for each subsequent 15 mins. When I pointed out that their work had not actually fixed my problem and that they should come back to review their work at least once to be sure they had not missed something, their response was "It's simply not worth it"... without charging me again. Very unfortunate that this company does not see the importance of customer service and pride in their work or reputation. I cannot say anything good about this company to my colleagues, students, or anyone reading this review.

Seriously impressed with these guys, from start to finish they showed the world what good customer service is all about.

I ended up leaving the shop with lots of knowledge, help and guidance. My iMac's graphics card has failed and they outlined the options for me when they could have persuaded me to spend money there and then.

Best customer experience I've had for a very long time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will go there for all future jobs.

1* service for these guys. They charged me £50 for a diagnostic on my HDD data recovery provided me with a joke of a "report" written in Calibri font, no header or any indication of the data which could be recovered.

They quoted me £1,400 for data recovery with little-to-no indication of the data that could be recovered. Obviously I declined and arranged to pick up the device. When I arrived to pick it up, despite it being during their opening hours there was no response on two occasions.

When I finally did get the device back I went elsewhere and was able to get the data recovered with a proper report, and for one third of the price that these guys quoted me.

Poor experience, unprofessional and a waste of time and money with these lot. Certainly not A1!
