Don't let DHL deliver your parcels here! I wanted to collect my parcel after tracking indicated it had been sitting in the shop for over 1.5 hours. The employee would not hand me the parcel without the collection code. As I never received one, I called DHL. Turns out he never scanned the parcel, making it impossible for me to receive the code. Once I told him, he argued that the parcel had only arrived 10 minutes ago. As 10 minutes in his life seem to be 90 minutes in real life, expect this place to waste your time, and stay clear if you consider your time a valuable resource.

Good parcel collection service point - I read here that they would not give a parcel without the delivery code: excellent to read that they follow the rules to the letter. Wide range of newspapers, magazines, drinks, snacks etc.

Quite good for a snack before market day - do a variety of drinks and Ginsters slices (including the elusive Southern Fried Chicken wrap). 😋

Unlike other reviewers: never found them rude or rushed. In fact: the guy in charge seemed pretty nice.

Cost effective if you're waiting for a bus - a lot of Oxford shops around there have little food and charge a lot.

Unfriendly and unhelpful. Choose a different collect/return option if available to you.
Parcel returns only until 18:30.

Great store. Always service with a smile and a great selection of essentials. One tip - have you considered stocking eggs, bread, or staples like pasta?

Avoid this store if you want to return your parcels. I went to the store twice while still had my parcel unreturned. The first time the staff said the driver hadn't come to pick parcels since Thursday and asked me to come on the following Monday. This surely is the communication issue between the store and the delivery service and I honestly don't understand why I have to carry my parcel home because of this. The second time I was luckily to reached the second step which was hand over my parcel to the staff. When I thought I finally would be able to return my parcel, the staff surprised me again with loud voice saying that I had to stick the return label onto the box and they neither had idea on how to do this nor sold any tapes. How ridiculous. Frankly on the webpage it did mention that the label need to be attached to the parcel and cover the old label. However, the plastic bag of my parcel was thrown away and the box inside did not have any label on it. So I brought the label to the store without attaching it and would like to pack the box with the staff together if necessary. I thought I was trying to avoid inconvenience but they kept creating more and more inconvenience. If the staff really hate the collection and return business, why do they still run it? I saw them smiled to customers who purchased stuff from them, so I guess they know how to treat customers. With such a core location, the store could have been a nice place to serve people no matter in Oxford but also those who visit Oxford. Sadly they seem not want to be.

I find the proprietor of the shop to be very abrupt and rude at times Not just with me. But I've stood outside while waiting for my Coach to arrive.
And the way he speaks to customers He used to be so nice. And anybody having trouble with DHL. Robert dyas do a fantastic job with many staff on hand to help. And is picked up everyday regularly
