Used to be my local shop and loved it, still pop in every now and then as they always have new items available that other shops don't.

What a nightmare it wouldn't be without this local spar shop ,it sells nearly everything you might need food,frozen food fresh veg fresh salad ,hot pieces and sandwiches,cereal,vitamins,crispness chocolate,also cards of all nature's easter eggs beer whine and lottery tickets and probably many more in store items. Staff are always happy to help in general it's a most needed and welcome shopping experience

It's OK but you gota be there early in a morning to get what you want in fresh food sections as it goes quick and when it's gone it's gone they don't restock till next day and the sandwiches only have a day or 2 b4 use by date

Despite the Spar retailer being a Dutch multinational franchise, it has manged to keep a local shop feeling mainly thanks to the helpfulness and genuine warmth of their staff. However, it seems that our local shop has decided to utilise a facial recognition system to provide ‘protection’ for all. This protection is debatable and will remove their customers any right to privacy whilst shopping.

Unfortunately, the few spoil it for the many here, 2 male staff members are possibly the rudest people I have ever met. They continue to harass you after telling them you are exempt whilst I was wearing a lanyard, I offered to show them the rules but they are just not bothered with the most recent order being I have to go to the till and announce I am disabled and so can't wear a mask before getting on with the shipping, just wearing a lanyard isn't enough.
