Not bad. But when closed as a result of a flood precisely zero information was made available regarding when it'll reopen. Stopped sellingl Carlsberg Special Brew and frequently runs out of Marlboro Gold. Shop queuing system could use some work (confused with Post Office). Staff are both cheerful and helpful. Reasonable range of goods.

Great produce and handy to have. Ridiculous queuing system and hit or miss with staff - some lovely and polite, others rude and incompetent - management should review!

Lovely shop and people. Very friendly during the pandemic. Co-op is an ethical brand with a great philosophy.

yesterday me (17) and my boyfriend (18) went into a co op and tried to buy an energy drink each, he had his ID with him and i didn’t as we go in there almost everyday and they don’t check anymore as they already know i’m over 16 (he brought his just incase) they told me they couldn’t serve me as i didn’t have ID but served him as usual, then outside of the shop as we were walking home he gave me his drink, today we went in again i bought an iced tea and he tried to buy an energy drink again. even though he had ID with him they refused to serve him as it was a “proxy sale” looking into it a proxy sale is only with alcohol, we were spoken to rudely by a middle aged woman with dark hair who pulled faces as we walked into the store and were told false information. as 2 young adults clearly legal age to buy an energy drink it’s pathetic, even more pathetic than a grown woman going out of her pay to be petty and rude to 2 teenagers and regular customers :)

I am a regular costumer here and have never caused any problems… but the last few days i’ve felt like i’ve had to. I come in to the store quite often (more than i probably should, almost daily) and have been ID’d at least 4 times since i started going (over the period of a few years) They know that i am an 18 year old and yet still want me to provide ID for an ENERGY DRINK… not even alcohol. My girlfriend is 17, and has also been ID’d there before as we have gone plenty of times. They truly believe she is under 16. Because an 18 year old would openly date a 15 year old? Rude staff and just because i’m younger than them, they like to think they know it all. I will happily have a conversation about it with them if they insist, but as a regular costumer who’s been coming since i was 15-16, never thought i’d have a problem with them. Especially that woman with brown tied up hair. I will say, it’s not all staff.

Ok, handy shop with Post Office. No cold soft drinks as fridge not working properly in this heat!

Still waiting for the store refurbishment but the staff are doing their best with what they have. Unfortunately the stock levels are poor in some cases, but presumably this is due to the HGV driver shortage.
