As an employee for a weekend paper round, I Can say that the environment at McColls is great, It has a wide variety of goods and staff are always happy to help, Solid 4/5

Excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly staff

I go there everyday to deliver mail for my family company, whilst most of the employees and kinda and chatty, there are some who just make you think "really...?"
I just went down to post two small orders, just to get turned down because it was NEAR the end of his shift...Shop closes 7, i was there at 6:45... I get you have to clear up, but come on!!!! The shop was empty!!!!

Worlds worst post office.

- They are unable to take certain pre paid mail due to “computer says no”.
- I have been before with three people stood behind the counter but told they are not accepting mail due to “lunch”.
- Lastly the main guy who works with short hair (is usually there when i have visited) is condescending and lacks basic customer service operating skills.

Bottom line is that if you have mail - go somewhere else to post it.

Very friendly staff, it was my second visit to this particular branch and both times the Gents in there have been very welcoming.
