Great little local store. Friendly staff and reasonably good range of food and drinks. Also stocks local beers, newspapers, ice cream. Parcels can be sent too, all in great little local store providing vital community service.

Absolutely awful rude disgusting man behind the counter started shouting and speaking rudely to a customer who came in for help following their vehicle being hit outside the store, who was simply asking if the guy could check the cctv for him. Will not be visiting again or supporting this local business where it’s not deserved. Take your business elsewhere to someone that values it and will support the local community which supports them.

Like another reviewer, I used the Hermes return service for an Amazon item. Amazon say that the store will pack the item for you but it seems none of the stores do this. I blame Amazon, not the store. Compared to the other two stores I tried to use, the service here was very friendly. I wasnt initially intending to buy anything but did some additional shopping in the end, just because the lady on the till was so helpful.

I had used this store on a number of occasions to return goods via Hermes, which were purchased online, with no issues but had always printed the return label off at home and packaged the item beforehand. However, on 28 Sep 21 I visited the store to return an item purchased from Amazon. Amazon advised that I could return the item without the need to package it if I took it to a Hermes collection point with an in store printer service and the return lable could be printed in store and they would package the item for me for free. When I arrived I managed to figure out how to print the label after a short while although there were no instructions on how to do this. When I handed the item and label to the staff member they told me they didn't offer a packaging service and forced me to buy an envelope to put the item in. There really needs to be some notice on Hermes' website or the Store's facebook page that they do not offer this service.
