A fascination with not taking money from waiting customers, relying on the machines, that don’t work, to do their jobs for them. Ranging from the lazy to the useless. When your job is gone you’ll know why.

Other than some lad called Sam. Seems to work hard and have to do three peoples jobs at once whilst all those around him look aimlessly in to space wondering who these people queuing are.

I’ll wait patiently for now, minor sarcasm being whispered, watching the fall out.

Self service till incorrectly charging again, no-one answering the phone to try and rectify the situation......

The Co-op Food - Blackfen is one of my local shops and often I find most food products here. Some surprises found here too displayed on their shelves in variations compared to their rival food markets operators. My wife and I have been shopping here for 36 years and have always found something good to buy at this branch, plus a short journey from home convenient for essential quick buys. Overall, the food products are good but seem to lack choice variation in scale compared with the other larger top four food chain supermarkets. Excellent parking (free for the first hour at least of displayed ticket!) and very often a space found; a clean shop with spacious walkways (suitable access for disabled). Most visits experienced depending on time of day and year gauge mostly moderately busy to relaxed. Weekday mornings I find pleasant and best to visit for a shop whatever your demand and list. I will always return especially for a small shop load.......like to see more bargain price offers though! Keep up the good custom Co-op Food.👏 Chris. Visited Co-op Blackfen on 9th November '22. Why advertise opening times when they can’t be bothered to open on time ?
Actually locked the door on me as I was walking towards when it was passed the opening time !

Very well supplied with daily products that needs on every family table.

Couldn't get most of what I wanted. Not enough staff working on tills especially as you can't go through self check out if you buy a beef joint. The meat is inside a perspex box and requires to be opened by staff members. Very disappointed.
