Selling out of date food! One lamb samosa was 5 days past expirey about 6 others including chicken and lamb at least 1 day out of expirey when i told the guy at check out he wasnt bothered and said a man was coming to collect them i told him he shouldnt have them on display at all he became very rude and put them on a shelf underneath the one they were on but still on display! He then charged me for using a card when his sign said no charge for min spend of £5 when id spent nearly £6! When i challenged him and asked for a reciept he said he hadnt charged me and proceeded to change the price of my items on the screen to cover up the charge. My reciept then did not document which items costed what so i asked him which items were which and it differed from the price displayed by this point i was sick of his attitude and decided not to persue it further. Only go here if you want to get ill or want to be ripped off all while being treated appallingly.

Very good range of wines and spirits. A family run friendly business with good range of products.

The shop is meant to open at 7am but it’s quarter past 7 and I’m still waiting.

Very welcoming and helpful.
I have been going to this store for 7 years and it now has NEW OWNERSHIP!!!
The reviews I have read that say 1 star, seem to be based in it's OLD MANAGEMENT!!!
I would like to make a point of this, because I visit this newsagents all the time and have no issues and am so happy with their products and customer service and care.
I would be unfair that they arebrated so low (2 stars-as seen here) based on old reviews.
