Co-op Food - Sompting

Fabulous store. Some great friendly staff

I would just like to say a big fat thank you to all the staff at sompting coop. They are all an asset to coop they work long hard hours. I was organising a charity event on the 6th of April and each member of staff could not do enough to help me. Gary, Terry,Kerry,Millie,Charlotte,Connor,Josh,shelia,Carol,sharron and Pauline I thank you all. They are all play a vital part in somptings community and the coop group should be proud of all of you. Thank you keep up the good work. I hope this gets back to the right people xx

This is the second third time i have bought something from the fridge section, i threw the stuff away as it was moldy and the meal i had tasted funny. The staff are lovely, but i will not be buying stuff from there again.

Avoid if you can - On two separate occasions recently I’ve walked out of the store and noticed I’ve been overcharged for items, contradicting what they were labelled up as. Not impressed Co-op.

Very friendly staff who do the best they can. Prices are quite expensive for the sort of products they sell. Be careful with things like pizzas. There have been at least 2 occasions when I've purchased a fresh pizza and when have gone to cook it, there is mold growing on the pizza. I've also bought a tub of ice cream and found huge ice crystals inside, showing the ice cream had previously completely defrosted and was refrozen. These might just be the sort of issues places like this have as I've had the exact same problems at the local one stop too.

Waited outside for 20 minutes then gave up and went home. Who employs people that can’t serve on tills! Worse coop in the country! Avoid like I will be!

Recyclable packaging on co-op products! Good quality food. As few Air miles as possible. Very impressive for a Supermarket.

Nice since the revamp recently. Clean, tidy and usually well stocked. A bit on the expensive side for some things but also good priced own brand products and offers.
