There is one women in there who ruins it for everyone else. I can't remember her name I think maybe Giselle, she is slightly older, dark hair, too much eye makeup, and the worst attitude imaginable. She always picks every item up, scans it, then throws it down as if to suggest she really couldn't give a monkies and thinks you are the scum scrapped from the bottom of her shoe. Never is there a smile, if she's not behind the right till she will just grab your stuff, and wander off without a word, I once put my items in a basket left by the previous customer to which I was told: "that's not what I wanted to do!" She then stood there and waited while I picked everything out. If she doesn't want to work with customers, why does She?????
Today was the straw that broke the camel's back, today we went in just to grab a couple of drinks. We got to the till just as she got on. She clearly had a cold as she was snivelling, with her face contorting into an expression only a mother could love. She was also holding a mass of blue roll and blowing her nose. Standing behind one of the tills closest to the door we put our drinks down and as per usual she grabbed then and wandered off. Grabbing them by the lids.....the bit we drink out of, after just having blown her nose. She then picked our drinks up (carbonated mind), scanned them and threw them down, she swipped my student card, threw it on the counter and charged us.
Worst customer service I have ever received and blattently in violation of health and safety regulations.
Sort this out coop, she is a liability!!!
Firstly; better advertisment of reduced items nearing sell by date or items that have lost labelling. It is disgusting to be wasting unopened items or in-date items, and just pure laziness not to push/reduce nearing sell-by-date stock (usually fruit!).
Secondly, improve on packing recyclable materials as pictured below in the cardboard crate. Again just laziness not to be deconstructing boxes before packing into crates.
Yes I did nab a bag from your outside food waste bin. But i did so primarily to highlight the error of your ways so you can start leading the change that will not only reduce food waste but also provide more for the community.
This member of staff is the most unhelpful one there. When you ask for a bag she'll just plonk it on top of your items instead of offering to pack for you, and she'll just absent-mindedly leave scanned items at more than arm's length instead of passing them towards you.
I'm amazed she got a job here. They must have been desperate .
