Co-op Food - Welwyn Garden City-Cole Green Lane

This has been a local supermarket for some few years now, but the recent refresh of the store has really highlighted the great spaces that they have finally decided to use. The isles are a lot bigger and more comfortable to navigate through, and there is also a fresher feel to the hot food section as well as the fruit and veg. There have also been some new additions to the staffing team and they all seem a lot more pleasant. A big plus for has been the self service tills, which in the rush hour make a hell of a difference. Great store and it seems promising in its early days.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great place for a quick shop. Shelves are always well stocked. Reasonable prices.

Quick and easy. No queue. But some people do not respect the rules, chat next to each other and sometimes even argue. I have not seen staff intervene, however I assume it is not easy for them, plus there is limited staff available. There was no disinfectant available for the baskets. Overall I prefer to shop there.

Staff work under a lot of pressure here ...but remain courteous.

Be great if this store had more trolleys. Baskets difficult for those with arthritis

Staff are genuinely, friendly and helpful. It is touch expensive compared to the bigger chain stores.
I like my easy peelers, ( A fruit like an Orange.) Most time’s I buy a bag of easy peelers from the Co-Op. There is a 3 in 10 chance that 3 to 4 pieces will be off, with rotten spots on then. I should take them back. I don’t though. The wrapped loves of bread can be ready to go stale. If they have a good offer on then the item will always be gone. I only grumble because I do all my shopping here. They have everything I need.
I give it 4 out if 5

Been to shop today, absolutely tidy store, lots of aisle with lots of range , friendly staff, free car parking with no time limit,

I am let down I have ordered on two separated orders and not recived1 its taken time for me too get money back poor service for a pensioner and disabled 🚺

The evening the door team. Are the worse!
Just been this store 7:15. Was followed round store (raining so my hood up) but to stand a meter away with arms crossed glaring at customs who use store daily. Nope! I get that this coop is not must classy area. But no you don’t treat customers like this. Theres a rough sleeper on door and a lady begging outside. Mayme focus on that rather then people actually paying for products.

Coop sort your self out

Since this store introduced night door staff there’s been more issues then before. They just stand and chat anyway. If I want to shoplift.. this place to go as they’ll be to busy chatting or following me round.
