Co-op Food - Westgate-On-Sea

I'm a little disappointed 😞 I arrived early 15 minutes before the shop opening time today to be greated by a rather grumpy person who was opening up just before 7-00 am!!!
He told me that the shop wouldn't be open for at least 15 minutes yet? So not opening until 07-15 am and he suggested that I should use the shop up the road instead?????I'm absolutely shocked 😳
CO-OP OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANT THE BUSINESS IN WESTGATE ANYMORE.
it's a real shame because the rest of the staff at the store are friendly, helpful and work very hard but this guy has let the team down and the CO-OP name.

Not really keen on co-op,overpriced items. Looks dark inside.

This is my local shop and I shop here near enough all the time, but there is one thing that annoys about one of the staff members, I'm not mentioning names but he will know who he is. Everytime I go in there and get my shopping, this cashier never asks if I want a bag despite seeing that I need one. Okay I get it he doesn't have to ask me but it would help instead of standing there all ignorant. The other staff always ask if I want a bag but not this guy. I'm really s*** at juggling so it would be nice to be asked If I want a bag or not. Rant over

Excellent staff. The store can get quite busy, but great service. Open when you need it. Very good selection. Highly recommended.

Avoid using Deliveroo here, just made my first order and even some of the items that were available were suddenly missing when delivered, like 1 can out of 4 beers mysteriously missing etc, plus others.

Gotta be the worst co-op in England. Useless pensioners for staff take forever, the ques are a joke always takes ten mins waiting in line, plus the shelves are always empty... In one word.. ridiculous

If only all shop assistants were this happy and helpful in the morning. Very helpful lady. Thank you.

Probably the slowest service in the history of the co.op big que one person serving rest of staff walking about like extras out of the shaun of the dead ..no leadership.........
