It's nice to have a local shop. But, the dates on the food leave a lot to be desired. They do not seem to have much in the way of turnover, and I think it because the prices are quite a lot higher than the Asda just a short walk away. On the 14th November I purchased a newspaper and some crisps. I ate most of the crisps thinking they were not quite up to the usual standard. Then I noticed the date on the back of the packet. It was for 26th September. To be nearly a couple of months out of date is just not good enough.

I won't go back there, I'd rather go without. I was treated like scum because I tried to buy a drink 1min before they can sell it. He didnt mention it, he screamed it and demanded I get out and wait outside for a min. If I wasn't on a small vacation I'd of screamed back at the overly rude guy, instead ill leave a review. Not that it will make much difference.
