Fairly reasonable local shop , not exactly the cheapest but is a convenient store fair selection of goods have always found the shop assistant/Manager ok polite. Not sure about ever being meet with rudeness. Can get a little cramped due to lack of space & layout also don’t be expecting to go un-observed guess it’s just the layout and there being rightly security conscious. What with the narrow profit margins that there are , can’t blame them for watching every customer’s movements while there shopping. After all if ya not up to doing wrong nothing to worry about eh ! The alternative shop is just round the corner Romanian/polish owners better prices it has to be said. Also avoid using ATM thought they “Banks”had eradicated being changed for cash withdrawals ect . 🤔🙁😳😱sadly not the case here. Use garage over the road will accept card/contactless payments if needed. Unlike some especially Boundfield Road Newsagents’s don’t accept card payments for any goods or services and have the nerve to charge £1.85 for ATM withdrawals wot a joke but hey ho! It’s their choice still manage to stay in business some really high crazy pricing here
