Co-op Food - Borrowash

Free parking, public toilets outside but open during the day and not the best.
The store is very friendly as you would expect from a local branch.
There is always plenty on offer. Shelves are always stocked and always a bargain to be had.
There is a community feel to this store. Other customers always seem to be in conversation with the staff and the store do help with community based programs, notices and events.

Since the refit (which was much needed), the store feels so much fresher. Lots of choice of fresh produce and bakery goods.

Staff friendly as always and lots of options to get through the checkouts quick.

Car parking can be a nightmare, spaces just feel like they’ve been painted for 70’s cars

Recently refitted, now very bright and well set out.
The burgers are fantastic on a side note. If i had the opportunity i would gladly camp overnight in the crisp aisle, might have to dim those lights though.

No tills open again this morning. Useless! And 3 staff guiding a lorry outside with only 1 in store on the kiosk! And stopped a disabled driver parking in the disabled space. They loved that! Laughing and joking about it. Just hope the driver found a decent shop. Must be the worst managed shop in Derby. I wanted a bottle of booze and again no tills open!!!! Two serving in kiosk with queues of people with groceries. Couldn't use self serve tills as I had booze. What a useless manager they must have. Avoid if possible. Update, went in today as I wanted a newspaper. Builder walking around, no mask! Completely ignored by manager!

Great selection of produce and groceries with some good offers on certain items. Friendly staff, wide aisles good for organic and free from foods too.

You can't find anybetter staff amazing. Sadly the prices are alittle sharp

I bought a free range Coop chicken from Borrowash Coop on Saturday June 12th. It was cook in the bag and cooking time was 1hr 17 mins. I inadvertently cooked it for 1hr 30 mins but that was unimportant when we ate it. The flavour, moistness was superb. Equally impressive was the relatively small amount of fat as opposed to liquid which solidified into a gel. 10/10 Coop!
