Bridgend Library Service

This library, though small, has a lot of heart thanks to the amazing people who run it. They are quick to help and super friendly. It feels like a hidden gem that has something new to offer every time I visit. Recently, I discovered that they host a reading and craft session on Saturday mornings. They also have great mini exhibits on topical issues and I have yet to visit this library without taking one of their quick pick recommendations home. It's even more amazing that it's all FREE! Visit this place, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Friendly and welcoming staff and what seemed to be a very well-stocked and modern library. As it's part of the leisure centre complex there's loads of parking (which you have to pay for but get an immediate refund when you present the voucher the machine gives you with your ticket to the reception desk). Several disabled parking bays and easy wheelchair access to the building and library. There are also toilets and drinks and nibbles available in the leisure centre.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Great choice of books. Easily accessible as its mainly on the ground floor and has plenty of parking right outside. You also have the opportunity for a comfortable sit down in the adjoining cafe to peruse your chosen books and have a cuppa and/or snack.

Too cold with air Conditioning on continually. Difficult to understand where books should be found. Noisy on times as people don't seem to understand the concept of a library. Update: dreadful staff, rude and unhelpful. When you complain they lie through their teeth. I cut up my card and sent it to head office 2 months ago and they haven't bothered to get in touch. Disgraceful!

Lovely little library in the leisure centre, staff were friendly and helpful, children's books downstairs and more upstairs such as audio books and large print books, colouring and chillout areas. Perfect for an hour hour of the rain.
