No Union Flag on any occasion showing in the photos , white crosses were replaced with black ones, the flower baskets up on the poles looked lovely, back then whenever that photo was taken, lovely as they were they have been weed collectors since last year. The canons have also been competing with weeds since then. When Cllr Brivio became Mayor her photo was up in the Council offices in under a month. Where is the photo of our Mayor Chris Precious after 3 months in office? The planters next to the War Memorial need some serious attention now, unless we are cultivating the "neglected"look. Its a War Memorial, respect should be automatic. Maybe part of the £14,000 spent on this web site should have been put aside for tending to these problems. Any college student could have designed this web site for free or you could have used the free one offered by DDC and spent the money on " repairing the benches".
