This is my experience at hatch park. Yesterday there was a rope swing it was so much fun. I recommend going there during the easter holidays.

Very tranquil at 06.30 am.Getting there early you can see so much wildlife. Not many parking spaces and I don't think a wheelchair could get through the gate. It is approached along narrow single track roads with passing places, the type with gravel and greenery growing in the road between the wheeltracks!

Lovely foot path with fascinating trees not because or their species but more so because of their age and deformations. Flat grounds for walking with different terrain in places. Quite a popular place but plenty of room for everone.

There's a very small car park for half a dozen cars or so. Lovely area to walk in, it's a shame the actual walk isn't longer. We spent just on an hour for our first visit. There are various other walks from the estate but without a map no idea where they lead to. We arrived just after 9am and it was very quiet. We didn't see the deer till we were back in the car driving away as the deer were down by the lake that is on the private part of the estate.

A beautiful, peaceful place to walk the dogs. You can choose a long or short walk and the map at the entrance gives you the routes.
