Beautiful place to walk around if you fancy some wooded trails. Lots of facilities at the entrance of the park, and some apparatus for children to play on. Can choose between 3 trails, each varying in the distance you want to walk. So nice when the sun is out, but don't forget wellies! As some bits of the trail can be a bit muddy. Lovely place!

Great place for a dog walk as long as it’s dry. In the wet, it gets very muddy. Lots of different trails all through the woodland. Pity the pay and display is so far from the car park!

Lovely place to go for a day out with the family. Pay and display parking. Cafe on site. If its been raining take wellies as some of the walks through the woods can get muddy.

Great playgrounds ( three different ones) for children of all ages and not just younger ones. Lots of walks and exploring to do. The paths are well maintained but still in keeping with the surroundings. There is a small cafe that serves snacks and drinks. The only downside is the parking meter is a long way from the car park. So you have to walk from car to meter then back again to put ticket in!! All before you start exploring.

Love it here, it's a great place to find peace by going for a walk on the nature filled walkway's. So much to see ...trees, birds, insects, wildlife galore and so unspoiled. Great okay area for children to have adventures. Nice cafe selling home made cakes and pastries and so much more. Definitely worth visiting.

This a great, well maintained Country Park by North Northamptonshire Council. Good facilities for children to play and burn off that excess energy.

There is a nice cafe, with a good menu that is reasonably priced and there are toilets, which are lovely and clean but....... Nothing to dry your hands with after you have washed them!

Lovely woods, and at this time of year, the autumnal colours are amazing. There are dog poo bins scattered around the park. There are also numerous benches to sit on scattered around the park.

Car par is good and reasonably priced. A great day out if you are a dog walker, a family or you just want to explore.

This is a slightly more 'managed' woodland to visit in that there are visitor things, surfaced paths and landscaped areas, but the range of flora and fauna are true ancient woodland. It's really nice to visit somewhere like this when you are really into plant life, and it was pretty quiet, safe and serene for walking my young dog off lead when I first adopted him, just taking in nature and exploring.

There were people visiting on mobility scooters which was nice - lots of the paths are obviously up to standard for their access needs although there are some steps and the ground can be quite wet away from the main paths. There is a cafe and toilets plus play equipment I think, but I didn't visit those myself.

You do have to pay for parking but it wasn't very expensive and goes to the management of the woodland.

It really is a beautiful place. Great for dog walkers. Great little park for the little people. A perfect place for family picnics with a small cafe. I have deducted a star because I felt that not enough is done to encourage dog people to clean up after their dogs, after having to play hopscotch in certain areas.
