Tread very carefully with this service, they are not friendly to the layman, with the result that the odds are very much stacked in favour of the VOA. If you can afford it, I strongly recommend getting independent professional advice before engaging in this process. Complete waste of time. This service is a gimmick. The council can basically do what they want and have you cornered within law. No fairness whatsoever.
