Absolutely shocking! I've been trying for 17 months just to get the application for the Desi Nisi as the original was lost. They never answer emails and when you finally get through on the phone (usually 1hr+ wait) they have no idea about the situation as no emails or letters I have sent since April 2021 have even been looked at. Each time I speak to someone I am given different information and instructions of what I need to do. They haven't got a clue, complete incompetence.

0 starts if it was possible! Same as everyone else it seems that has left a review. Used a solicitor hoping things would go smoothly. I have waited over two years now for my divorce. First lot of paperwork lost, re-submitted it again. Divorce is an agreement and amicable with ex, we have new partners and wanting to move on. Wished we had just applied online like some friends did and all would have been done by now. Can’t ever get through to speak to anyone. Would be happy if I could get money back and just do it myself online through new process, if only! Something should be done about this court being used

I've went through an online divorce company and I wish I hadn't bothered. I started my divorce in 2021 and I paid a lot of money and getting/got no where fast, and trying to get any information from either the court or company dealing with it is impossible. I've come to the conclusion that anything to do with the government whether its the DWP, divorce centres anything else, be prepared to be on the phone for a very long time and never hang up or you won't get through..

Once you eventually get through to a member of staff (usually takes about an hour of being on hold), they are consistently very polite and as helpful as they can be. Having said that, the service the help line staff are able to provide is woeful because of the impossible situation they are being put in.

The court itself seems to be like something from the dark ages. I'm 2 years into the process of my ex applying for a divorce and we still haven't managed to successfully obtain a decree nisi. I have absolutely no idea how long the process is going to take and neither do the people who's job it is to help. Nobody there can even tell us if the correct paperwork has been received from my ex's solicitor. Shockingly bad service from a government department.

Very bad.i am waiting for two years for a divorce where we was both agree. I think they lost the papers because keep asking me for D8,D11 etc to many times. I am waiting to conect whit them by phone one hour and after that they don't have any update of the case or they shut the phone like today . It was a simple divorce what he need to take around 6 months no 2 years .

As many others have said. This is a totally inadequate government service. I have been waiting since November 2021 for a straight forward divorce. No children or property, both in agreement and separated 5 years. Loads of unanswered calls and emails. I cannot believe nothing has been done to address the thousands of complaints they now have. Surely they are not still blaming COVID-19 for this total shambles!!!

Unfortunately, I cannot give 0 stars, this still would be too much for this high class overpaid under-performance! Absolutely shambolic mess, they barely reply to e-mails, when you call them, they seem to be totally incapable of doing the most simple of tasks and limited to what they can achieve. What on earth is going on? What are they paid for?! Extremely poor performance, correspondence marked as urgent and for attention of the manager posted in 2020! has not been answered yet, the Court staff made an error (typo) but yet significant so the papers had to go back to the judge urgently ( this was over a year ago!!!) and they have a cheek to say luck of resources and Covid-19 - absolutely ridiculous! Where is the manager of this Court? Why aren't you dealing with complaints? Why cases get lost, then found, then backlogged when they are marked as URGENT??? Does anyone understand the meaning of URGENCY within this Court?! The key is to get productive capable staff not looking for excuses! Who is managing this shambolic mess?Rather mismanaging big time! Don't you have decency to reply?
Maybe a drive to the court is the next thing to do ....
