I was there a few years ago and the manager, Nick French, was very kind, hospitable, and caring. Bretby Crem is a peaceful and spiritual place - you can sense your loved one is at rest. Mr French was tireless in his concern for the visitors.

Last thursday afternoon I left a well watered pot plant under a tree for my mother. I was horrified to find It had been removed as waste th following saturday, On complaining I was met with a supercilious pious moron.Absolutely no need to remove it, just common sense was needed. All this rude offensive prat wanted to do was talk over me. No compassion and in the wrong job.

Been to the crematorium today to put some flowers on the in-laws plot where we paid a great deal of money for and was upset at how much the grass was in need of cutting, the entrance to the crematorium gives a false impression as all the grounds are not given the same amount of attention, feel short changed.

It's not a happy place to review but a lot of family and friends have been cremated here including my dad. Lovely grounds. Well kept. Areas are clean and bright with flowers

A cremation can never be a happy event - however we were very happy with our experience 27th April 2021 when we had a service plus cremation for my mother in law. Because of the pandemic we only had 6 of us there, and the rest of her family and friends joined us via the live stream ( or later through the link provided). Lucy Forest ( Funeral director) kindly read a poem on our behalf and the priest read the eulogy. It was all beautifully done and deeply respectful. We have no complaints. Thank you.
