A very good place to run, walk, and explore. Along with the statute. It's not a museum, but a statue instead 😊

I went to the statue with my four year old as a away to learn a bit of history. It was a very wet, rainy October day and there are no paved paths so I had to carry him on my shoulders. It's not very accessible either; you're not getting up there in a wheelchair. But you can get pretty close to the statue itself, it's fairly spectacular, and the parking is free.

Great historic statue, surrounded by great woodland making it an ideal start/end to a walk or run.

It is worth seeing this. The statue is absolutely huge.

There are several places to walk nearby and the statue is near a big field.

The statue is fenced off, but it is still a joy to see. One has to walk up a bit of a hill (there are stairs, as photographed) to see the statue up close.

Quite surprised to come across this huge statue of Wellington on his horse on a high mound in the middle of a field. Apparently Queen Victoria didn't like it in Central London so asked the army to move it elsewhere...so they did
