Eurochange Stafford

I don't often leave reviews but felt I have to after my experience today whilst paying for Dirhams.
I was paying by card and before I was allowed to put my card into the card machine the girl asked to see my card to check the card belonged to me. Not thinking fast enough... I handed my card over, she looks at both sides of the card and then hands it back and asks me to put into the machine. I asked her how she knew it was my card as at no point had she asked my name or for I.d.! Her answer was "your card is more difficult as it doesn't say Mr or Mrs on it", I repeated my question about how she knew the card actually belonged to me since she still didn't know my name. Same answer as before but this time she adds we have to check the card is real - REALLY?!? I then notice the CCTV cameras directly above the counter so basically both sides of my card are now recorded.

For a few years now when I've had to exchange currency, at various locations, I've always had to show I.d. as apparently that's now a requirement but not at Eurochange, they're more interested in looking at your card and making sure your card is real!

Next time I'll be going to the post office!

I've put this review on here after telling my husband and daughter about it as I thought it was very strange but maybe I was just being a bit cynical, their reaction was the same, that's its not right and very strange.

Girl behind the counter needs to go and learn people skills , she was very rude , no please or thank you , very miserable
