Lux Medispa

I have been visiting this Spa on and off for a massage because it is convenient to my home. My experiences have been satisfactory until now when they have become 5 Star!
I have particularly enjoyed the Hot Stone and Deep Tissue Massages with Sham. From the moment, she started my first massage I knew that I would be in safe and experienced hands. I have signed up for a course of massages to soothe, stretch and release the tensions my body holds. The massages also complement my exercise regime.
Not only is Sham an experienced masseurs but is able to give advice and perform the whole tange of treatments offered at Medispa. Certainly, a Jewel waiting to be found. 🙏🏻

Updated - Like Day and Night - Amazing massage

I'm updating my original review following on from receiving new treatments. I was contacted by Brett, the spa owner, after he saw my poor review after having a massage and facial the previous night, they were both awful.

Brett explained that he was having issues with that member of staff and was sorry I was given a substandard experience and offered the same treatments again, free of charge. He recommended Maya, and she was absolutely AMAZING. Honestly, one of the best massages I've ever had. She was also the most lovely and warm person as well, I was so relaxed by the end. It was like I went to a different spa!

I also want to mentioned that the spa were so kind, not just to offer to redo the treatments, but also to rebook my complimentary appointment after I missed it due to my cat going missing.

I will definitely be going back!

I have had massages at Lux MediSpa for over two years now and have always found both the quality of massage and service to be very good. In particular, I have been recently been receiving massages from Maya who has really helped to alleviate pain in my upper back through regular appointments. I can't thank her enough and highly recommend her to anyone who wants a deep tissue massage!

So much love for everyone here, they're wonderful people and give a great service that feels worth the money. I always feel so relaxed and refreshed after a treatment. Hot stone massage with Sham is my top recommendation!

I have been twice to this spa this year and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I booked in twice for a two hour treatment. The Deep tissue massage, facial and body scrub was incredible. This was all thanks to the professionalism and sincere care of the therapist I had. Maya is an experienced therapist and really knows how to make you feel comfortable from start to finish. She gives her full attention during the treatments and leaves you feeling healed on all levels. Mind, body and spirit. This is the best massage/treatment and Spa I have experienced. Highly recommended. .

Had a wonderful spa day at Repton Park on Thursday- a special treat for my birthday! Tanya made me feel really welcome and showed me around and was super helpful. She also gave me the most wonderful full body massage! I’m an ex massage therapist myself and find it hard to find someone who can give a really good massage but Tanya was brilliant and I could feel she was really experienced and had a naturally caring nature.

The swimming pool and gym complex are absolutely incredible with all the original features of the old chapel.

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the cafe was close for refurbishment meaning there was no where to get something to eat. The spa day doesn’t include any food which is fine because I thought I could at least buy a sandwich or something in the cafe… but alas I had to spend the day hungry. I think I ought to have been informed before my arrival so I could have brought my own pack lunch!

However I would like to return one day when the cafe is back open!

Me and my mum had the most amazing experience in the spa with the ladies, it was a weekend yet it was not hectic and kept very relaxing. We were very well looked after and our massage and facial treatments were outstanding. Would highly recommend!

Not one for reviews, good or bad but felt the need to leave one here. Apologies I didn't get the lady's name (Indian/South Asian appearance), but she was absolutely phenomenal in every way. Genuinely passionate about what she was doing, found the right knots to loosen and gave very useful advice on how I can help myself going forward. The massage itself almost put me to sleep, it was that relaxing. Great experience given by your wonderful therapist.
