Captiva Spa & Lounge

The girls at Captiva Spa & Lounge provided us with wedding hair and makeup. Our wedding went ahead despite Covid, and the team were there to offer their service at very short notice! They managed to fit us in for trials, and then agreed to travel a distance to get to our wedding venue. The team were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, arrived on time, and well prepared for the day. They worked their magic and really listened to what we liked and how we would like to work. They were brilliant with the children and were friendly and chatty, and had great patience! My hair stayed in place and so did my makeup! Excellent value for money, and a great, supportive, and accommodating team of professionals. You're all great at what you do and I would recommend the service to friends and family! Thank you for everything!

Wont be returning unfortunately. It was our first time at Captiva and our last.
Couples massage - we were put in a couples room which we thought would be nice until we got into the room. it was dirty and in desperate need of a revamp! Heated blanket was only working on one of the beds and the treatment finished before the allocated time. There was a lady in the room prepping my facial in the middle of the massage making lots of noise!!!
The facial - I wasn't asked anything about my skin sensitivity etc, which is pretty standard for prior to this kind of treatment. They added microblading for me but i think the pressure was too hard, and so it left my skin sore and rough for days . They ended with putting a super greasy oil on my face which was just awful!
I was asked to leave a review via email which of course i did, never to hear anything back!

Had my hair curled and pinned up, she used great products to make my hair look thick. for my Daughters wedding . Alex did it my hair is shoulders length very fine nightmare. To be fair she worked wonder's on it I loved it and had loads of compliments . Wood definitely go back to her she was very nice and very good it stayed in all day. Thank you Alex.

This place is fantastic. Treated my daughter like a princess & she didn't have the princess package 😂😂. Staff are always friendly & welcoming & service is great and they are always willing to help. Would of had 5 stars but the driveway and carpark let's them down big time. And there could be a sign at the entrance to make it easier to find

My first visit today and it did not disappoint. Made to feel very welcomed and the girls are so helpful at the reception. Eden was so lovely and friendly. She done a lush blow dry and a curl afterwards! Will definitely return soon! Thank you so much girls 🤍xx

An absolutely terrible experience with nasty staff who were unbelievably rude. I would wholeheartedly not recommend this spa and salon.

I love every trip to Captiva. All the staff are smiley, friendly and very professional. Hayley (senior stylist) has cut my hair for years and I won't go to anyone else. She always cuts and styles my hair exactly how I like it and is fantastic at what she does. I can't recommend her or Captiva highly enough.
