Lovely and clean environment, very relaxing, with pleasant and friendly staff. The dentist explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I first attended here a few weeks ago for an emergency appointment. They fitted me in straight away. The pain was sorted with a temporary filling after the prep work was done for the root canal treatment on my dog tooth crown. The root canal treatment was less painful than my first visit as the infection had gone. I asked if they could sort out another tooth which was giving me grief on the same side whilst my mouth was numb but was told I'd have to make another appointment for this. A few days later we went into Covid-19 lock down.
I struggled with tooth ache and discomfort intermittently throughout this period. Soon as dentists were allowed to open, I was back. The tooth that had root canal treatment was very loose, plus the bottom tooth under this was still giving me grief. I spent months avoiding chewing. During lock down I lost half my wisdom tooth at the back and a large filling had come out of another. After spending a fortune having the root canal treatment, this tooth was pulled out, costing around £500 in total. The dentist said he wasn’t happy about doing the root canal in the first place, but I had no idea what was on the x-ray. I was given two large temporary dressings on the back teeth and was told the lower tooth should settle down now the upper one is removed as it could still be secondary pain from the one above. I was told there wasn’t time in my appointment to deal with this as I only had a 40-minute appointment and the back temporary fillings were a priority to stop their pain. I phoned to make another appointment. The receptionist said she would call me back, but no phone call received. I rang again but then changed my mind and decided to go elsewhere.
Not being able to find an NHS dentist, I found another private practice who gave me a thorough plan following the x-rays and a list of options for treatments complete with prices and priority treatment needed to prevent long term problems for all my teeth. I did not get this with Burton Lodge. It was a case of me telling them what I wanted doing as they were emergency appointments. Maybe this is why. Nevertheless, it was an emergency appointment at the other practice too. Prior to Burton Lodge I have used NHS dentists and was always given a plan of works needed following any treatment complete with a check-up. In addition, they have completed all treatment necessary whilst my mouth was numbed. It was like the doctors, you expected to wait as no one knew how long the appointment would take. I now have a full idea of what needs doing and what is going on with all the roots of my crowns, which will lead to more infections if not treated. The other practice made the time to go through my x-rays with me and explain everything on them. I feel sad that I didn’t get this information from Burton Lodge. I felt they never had time, even before lock-down. They seem very keen to keep appointment times strictly within the time allocated regardless. This is good so no one is waiting but not so good if you need a bit longer for treatment while your mouth is numb and then have to pay another appointment fee to come back and get numbed up again.

Moved to the area 10 months ago and haven't managed to register with a dentist but after looking at a few in the area, decided to book an emergency appointment with Burton Lodge after managing to break a tooth and am I glad I did. Rang at 9am and was offered an appointment at 11.40 the same day. Wasn't looking forward to going as I'm a nervous patient but, was put at complete ease and had all the options explained to me thoroughly. Opted for an extraction and can honestly say that after the injections (which I also didn't feel), did not feel a thing. During the procedure, was kept reassured throughout. My dentist was Mr. Himanshu and he was brilliant. Actually looking forward to regular check-ups in the future.

Reception staff are friendly but have no clue.
The practice staff lie a lot to cover there mishaps.. Only for those that pay . NHS patients only there to make up the numbers Just look at the patients list. Only foreigners welcome.

Every time I go on the NHS, the dentist says he’s not qualified to do the work I require and I’ll have to go privately, it’s happened twice since 2020. Staff aren’t very helpful either, don’t ring you back when you leave voicemail.

Had previous bad experiences with other dentists but Dr Rami is the best by far. He takes the time to listen to your problem and his care and treatment are excellent. After having many issues with my teeth, time is always taken to make sure you are comfortable and pain free. I would highly recommend the dental surgery and Dr Rami for any dental treatments.

Wow I'm so impressed with Dr Rami and his team I was dreading my top jaw implant surgery which involved 5 extractions from my upper jaw and positioning of the implants ready for my permenant replacement denture .
The treatment will not be complete for a few months yet but I have full confidence in Dr Rami and highly recommend his practice.

Great experience of urgent dental care, perfect advice, care and attention given. Dentist was very experience as was dental nurse, very professional and left surgery pain free and having knowledge of all my teeth not just the one I was having trouble with. I have signed up for long term treatment here and would highly recommend to everyone, I'm an anxious person and I felt very comfortable here with painless treatment. Thank you so much
