Family Dental Care Centre

I hate having to visit a dentist, being as over the years I have had more than one bad experience, but my visit to this surgery was absolutely wonderful. I would certainly recommend anyone who is afraid of dentists to go along to this one. I was made to feel at ease as soon as I walked in the door, before any treatment was given .

The dental surgery is clean, the receptionists and nurses are quite nice.

I'm not fully keen on the dentists they've had here over the past 3 years, they don't listen when you try and tell them things, one has some weird thing about leaning you right back in the chair despite telling her you can't be leaned by too far due to health problems, in fact she leaned my Son back so far that she gave him an anxiety attack, I had to try and calm him down on the phone after. He also told one of them he had a problem with his wisdom tooth, according to her it was fine and yet here we are today with him having to go back for the same tooth which has now broken, perhaps the dentists should try listening and not sit there correcting the patients when they are telling them they are having issues with something and maybe be more helpful and give info that could help the patient.

I will say they are ok with people who suffer from anxiety, they will take their time with you and stop if you need them to, I had 4 teeth removed at the same time with zero problems, couldn't feel any of it. However, the last time I had a tooth pulled, I could feel it, I told her and she carried on pulling but I'm not going to fully blame her for it because as I recall she tried her best to numb my mouth but it seems to take a lot to numb it nowadays.

The worst dental treatment I’ve had in my life and worst follow up. All they’ve done was prescribe me antibiotics and get me private appointments in other clinics that no one can afford. Never call back when they say they will. I’ve been incredibly patient whilst in pain. No choice but to leave the honest review. I hope no one ever goes through this, you should all be ashamed, what you’ve done is terrible and can lead to health problems.. you DID NOT try your best!!

I went to the Family Dental Care Centre yesterday and saw Mitesh for a whitening consultation, he was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this practice.

First impressions were very good! All staff very helpful and friendly. I saw Mitesh and he was excellent, very thorough and answered any questions I had. Cannot fault my experience!

The team at Family Dental Care Centre are amazing. From the time I hear Tracey's voice on the phone to the time I leave Dr Panchal's office, everyone is reassuring, professional, and kind. I am grateful to the team for sorting out my dental treatments, and especially thankful to them for arranging an emergency dental appointment that left me very stressed and upset. Dr Panchal and his team fixed the problem swiftly and professionally with follow-up appointments. They make it look easy!

My daughter has ASD and Selective Mutism and dreads anything to do with teeth. She has always refused to wobble any and had ended up with a baby tooth embedded in her gum at a right angle to the new one but would never show me or tell me. The lovely, patient dentist removed the tooth with care and patience, telling her what was happening every step of the way, removing it under local anaesthetic. My daughter, whilst clearly anxious, was totally put at ease. I was allowed me to hold her hand during the tough bits. Thank you so much.
